Jane glanced over to Danielle, feeling her odd gaze on her. She forced a pleasent smile on her face, not very friendly to new people but she would try, this woman being family of Moritos. After a long moment, she turned from Danielle and glanced around again. The house actually felt colder, more because of awkward and family issues. Clearing her throat quietly, she looked up to Moritos. "So, which room is mine?" she asked, her voice dying out at the end. With so much tension in the house, Jane only wanted to escape to her room. Or, better yet, escape the house completely, at least for a few hours.

Moritos looked at his aunt and gave a smile and a wave. "Hi auntie." moritos replied as he looked at Jane. she seemed to look like she was feeling a little aggitated or at least not wanting to be there. "Top of the stairs and the large room at the end of the hall. Has your name on the door." Moritos made sure that at least whom his mother got decorating had put names on doors. "Want me to help you with your bags?"

Jane let her brows pull together for a second then shrugged. Picking up the bag again, she gave him a straight faced look. Her brow raised slightly then dropped again. He always did that, had to treat her almost like a human. It was nice at times but she didn't need to be coddled like a child. "No," she waved her hand, catching her cloak when it fell off her arm. "I've got it." Turning toward the stairs, she took one step then was gone. A soft click of a door could be hear at the top of the stairs.

Looking around the room, she wrinkled her nose. Human smells everywhere. Resting the bag on the bed, she moved around the room, the bag quickly emptying. Once everything was put away, she sniffed the air again. The sides of her mouth pulled down into a hard frown for a moment as she nodded. The room was slowly becoming vampirized, the human scent was slowly getting covered.

"Have fun." moritos told Jane, he went into his room and started to unpack putting all his books away as well as making his bed. the room wasn't the biggest, but he liked it.
demona came out of the kitchen with some store bought cookies, she handed one to Danille. "Still eat food?" Demona asked. She wasn't sure since Danille was a vampire now.

Glancing out the window in her room, it was late afternoon already. Most of the day had been taken up on getting there. Giving a soft sigh, Jane wondered if the tension downstairs had lessened any. She could hear Demona speaking, so she had come from out of the kitchen. Maybe it was safe to go back down? Taking the bag from where it was set, she slid it under the bed out of the way then grabbed her cloak. Walking out of the bedroom silently, she shut the door and quietly walked down the stairs. Looking from Demona to Danielle, she stopped at the bottom of the stairs not wanting to interrupt them.

Turning her head, Demona looked up at Jane with her cold death eyes. The eyes that haunted so many before they died. chimes sounded off in her ears as she looked at the vampires in her house. Giving a weak smile, it was the most many people had gotten out of her in a while.
"Jane. Would you like a cookie?" Demona asked. She almost forgot that some vampires don't eat. since normally half breeds do.

Jane didn't blink or flinch at the eyes. That kind of sight she grew up around, at least with the Volturi. She, herself, used those same eyes many times. Letting any type of feelings show at times was dangerous. Seeing the smile, she gave a small smile in return. Human food was never something she really liked but she nodded anyway. "Yes. Thank you."

Danille took the cookie and bit into it. She hadn't eaten human food in a while. She knows she can cause of the light side ,but rarely would she. Looking at Demona she smiled slightly" Thanks." Looking over to Moritos" How've you been? Anything new at all?" She was trying to break the tension in the room. She hated that feeling. Finishing off the cookie she let her hands fall to her sides.

Demona looked at her son. She was trying for him, trying to be a good mom that would smile. He was proud though that Demona was giving it a shot at a new life. Walking out of his room.
"I'm doing good. I been studying mainly and training. But guess its high school or college time." Moritos laughed as he took a cookie.
He loved cookies once in a while, but sweets were his department. He loved to make home made sweets that made people's hearts melt. Looking at Jane as she was eatting a cookie, he was amazed since the cookies normally tasted like dirt to vampires as far as he saw.
"Jane, would you like to attend college or something while you are here? Give it a shot." Demona asked as she gave a weak smile, she was trying. Moritos was afraid his mother's face might crack as it made him chuckle a bit.

Jane softly munched at the cookie she had taken from Demona with a smile. It tasted odd to her, having never really eaten human food before. All in all, it wasn't something she would eat all the time. Glancing up to Moritos as he looked at her. One of these days she would have to ask him what he was thinking when he was always look ing at her. She blinked at the question, turning to Demona now, unsure of what college was so she munched on the last of her cookie as she thought. "Um, well I'm not sure. I don't know what college is so until I know, I can't really answer that." She returned the smile, giving a bit of a far off look.

"Its all good. Me either, you can go with me." Moritos winked. Demona smacked him in the back of the head with an open hand. Not hard enough to cause damage, but to let him know that fucking around during school wasn't a good idea. "What?"

"Jane dear, just have fun. Don't mind me." demona took another cookie and ate it holding out the bag to Jane to take another cookie. moritos stared at his mother and then at Jane. To him she was still a beauty, but at the same time he knew that she had a different mind set than him. "Moritos. Why don't you take Jane to the dance?"

Jane blinked, nodding slowly. She guessed it wouldn't be as bad if she had Moritos who actually knew what to do around humans. It wasn't that she didn't know, it was just she never had to be around them for long periods of time. A laugh caught in her throat at the smack, never seeing Demona act like a parent like that before. Giving a soft cough, the remains of the cookie she had been eating getting stuck in her windpipe. Clearing her throat, she grinned. The two of them could be so funny to her at times. "Yeah, Moritos," she mimicked, trying to sound like she was scolding him, failing miserably as she laughed softly again.

She looked over to Demona, letting the laugh die and nodded. "Thank you. I will, I'm sure." Taking another cookie, not wanting to be rude, she munched on it. She stopped in the middle of a bite of the cookie, looking from Demona then to Moritos. A dance? In a small town like this? "Uh, a dance?" was all she could ask.

Danille listened to them. She looked at Demona to Moritos then to Jane. Her blue eyes soften some as she watched Jane. She could sense Moritos liked Jane so she would give the girl a chance. Smiling she looked back to Moritos" Well don't be to late on setting a career or school. Hell I've been through way to many schools in my lifetime. Just a heads up no matter how many schools you go too, only a few would teach you something important."She told her nephew.

Demona stared at Danille confused. "You went to school? Real shocker." demona said, it sounded more like an insult than curiousity. Moritos laughed at the comment, it sounded amusing to him. Stopping, he straightened himself out and looked at everyone. "I didn't go to school. And I know more maybe than you." She teased her cousin.

"Yeah. Dracul told me that the darkous family is hosting a dance this year alice in wonderland theme. Figured I go. Mom was going to go to try and socialize." moritos smirked, looking at Jane curiously if she would even go. Looking at the ground his eyes "Would you like to attend with us?"

Jane looked to Danielle, wondering what was with everyone staring at her. Maybe because she was of the Volturi? She shrugged mentally, figuring that was why. It wasn't like she usually this nice and calm, it was portrayed that she was a horrible woman who enjoyed torturing people. That wasn't completely untrue now but being with Dracul had calmed her down.

She blinked, being pulled out of her thoughts. "Oh. Who's the Darkous family? Humans? Or are they more vampires?" Meeting more vampires, hopefully ones that didn't know too much about her, would be nice. The less humans she came in contact with the happier she would be. "I can relate to Alice," she mumbled quietly, more to herself than to any actual person. Looking to Moritos again, she blinked thinking about it. "Hm. Sounds like fun, I suppose. Sure, I'll go." Her brows furrowed for a moment. He seemed more awkward than normal. Since they had gotten there he had been but seemed even more awkward now. Was she missing something?

"You don't know the darkous family and you spend how much time at Dracul's castle?" demona smirked. She could have some insults for a volturi. "The Darkous family is a group of vampires. They are large supporters of Dracul, and one has recruited alot of people for him." Demona put the bag down on the side of the stairs as she went into the living room looking out the windows as she opened them. The fresh air was nice for a change as a floral scent filled her nose.

moritos fell silent. "Mother. Not many people care who or what goes through that castle." He sighed, it was true. He couldn't even keep up with all the vampires that go through the castle or the other races. "Great. I'll escort you two."

"In a way you might know more then me ,but in that same way I may know some things you don't know. So we are most likely equal."Danille said to her cousin. She heard of the family they were talking about and heard of the party. She wasn't a people person so she probably wasn't going to go. Even though most people there might be vampires she likes to be a lone wolf. "I only went to school when I had too."She said with a shrug leaning against the wall.

((Sorry guys. >< Been a hectic weekend and gots writers block with everything that's going on with my wolf site. Stress gave me writer's block. Going to post in about 2 hrs or so with everyone.

About the party, should I be posting there now or not? Someone let me know pls! Thank you!))
